natureplus is a non-profit environmental and consumer organisation that is committed to the building transition. It is made up of construction professionals, experts and civil society organisations in many European countries. Its aim is to inform and educate people about sustainable building materials.

The testing procedure works as follows:
Start & Application - Product Testing:
Application for certification by the manufacturer of the product. He receives a central contact person and forms for data collection (healthy living, climate and resource protection).
Data Transmission:
The manufacturer shall transmit all necessary data to natureplus Institute SCE mbH. The data is subject to confidentiality.
Data Verification and Factory Audit with Sampling:
A specialist verifies the manufacturer's specifications on site. In addition, a sample is taken from ongoing production and sent in for analysis.
Evaluation:
Preparation of an evaluation report, deviations and conditions are defined and a recommendation for awarding is made.
Process Review and Certificate Handover:
Verification of the correctness of the procedure by the certification body. The manufacturer receives the natureplus certificate. Publication of the labelled products in the product database.
The tests are carried out in accordance with international standards and the seal is recognised as proof by building certification systems such as DGNB, BREEAM, LEED and BNB. The products are QNG-compliant and therefore fulfil the requirements of federal funding for efficient buildings.
